The demonetised 500- and 1,000-Rs currency notes worth Rs 4.45 crore have been seized from three separate places in the state, the state police said on Monday.

Following up on a tip-off on Monday, the police hindered a littler than common truck in Rajkot area and seized 10 packs overflowing with demonetised high-regard money notes with a face estimation of Rs 2.5 crore from four individuals.
The truck had a place with a close-by pump creating association, which was professedly taking the cash to its proprietor’s living plan at Menderna. The cash was offered over to the Income Tax Department for further examination, the police said.
A gathering from Jetpur police central station in a comparable range got two individuals from an auto with cash worth Rs 50 lakh in old Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 money notes.
Such notes worth around Rs 1.45 crore were moreover seized by the police from two better places in Narmada and Vadodara area on Sunday. Two individuals were moreover caught.
